Our Cambridge Open Step-back is a great storage piece for your kitchen/dining area. Beautiful shiplap backing with the perfect amount of character. Crafted from solid North American wood, built to last. Sustainably harvested wood to support long-term forest health. Eco-friendly water-based varnishes, stains and paints.

This piece is customizable & made to order. Choose your stain/paint and hardware. ~5-6 week turnaround time. 

It offers practical storage space in the lower cabinet for platters, linens and serving dishes and excellent display space for decor items in the upper fixed shelves. The drawers glide effortlessly on traditional wood runners.  Below are four recessed, floating panel doors that open up to two deep interior shelves. This solid piece has mortise-and-tenon drawer boxes, signature moulding and a solid wood back.

Counter top and upper shelf area in finished natural stain by default, whenever you order a paint colour. This can be changed for no extra charge.

Standard stains, paints and glazes are highlighted in the photos. Standard painted finishes come with slight rub-through for a timeworn feel. Finished with satin acrylic polyurethane for beauty and durability which is water washable but should never be cleaned with harsh cleaning products

  • 81  ½” W x 19.5" D (base). 78.5" W x 12" D (top). 83 1/2" H
    • The hutch crown is 85″ wide. 
    • The upper shelf depth is 12″ and they each have a plate groove at the back of the shelf

Shipping

We are pleased to offer free in-store pickup for all orders. You will be notified by email once your order is ready for pickup.

All rugs ship directly to you for FREE. Most rugs will take 3-5 weeks to arrive. If your item is backordered we will contact you with an updated lead time. 

For all other orders throughout Canada, we provide free shipping on orders over $250. Orders below this amount incur a flat-rate fee of $25, excluding furniture and certain large, delicate, and heavy items.

*Please note that oversized packages and those shipped to P.O. boxes may be subject to an additional fee. If applicable, you will be contacted via email before processing.

Returns

We offer store credit or exchanges for most items, whether made in-store or online.

Returns must be initiated within 14 days of receiving your package. If you wish to make a return, please email us at info@homeandcottages.com before sending back your package, and include your order number and the items you wish to return.

Customers are responsible for ensuring proper packaging for return items. Home & Cottages is not liable for lost or stolen packages. All items must be returned in their original condition with tags attached. The client bears any costs associated with return shipping. Home & Cottages reserves the right to refuse returns that do not meet our guidelines.
